What a Viu
The post-industrial elegance of the pieces emerges from the interaction of soft, organic forms with a precise geometry and details finished to a previously unattained level of perfection. Sharp contrasts arise from surfaces that combine the finest ceramics, glass and metal with matt lacquers or high-quality woods.

The true greatness of a design line is always shown through its details. In this point XViu inspires with the patented Duravit c-bonded technology and glass shelves which are available in four colors.
Precision in every perspective
The patented c-bonded technology combines the ceramic and the metal into an iconic appearance. From a different angle, the three-dimensional feet of the metal console are visually transformed into fine lines. This level of perfection extends right into the tiniest detail. The acrylic paneling on the underside of the basin conceals the fixing structure, cables, and connecting hoses, with the result that the elaborate technology does not impact the design.
What will the bathroom of tomorrow be like? With the Viu ceramic series and XViu matching furniture, Duravit provides the answer: holistic yet individual. All manufactured using the highest precision. In many variations and formats as well as numerous colours, the products make the dream of a very personal bathroom come true. Like the 1200 mm wide furniture washbasin c-bonded with matching vanity unit, Black Matt profile color, Concrete Grey Matt body color (07).
The 1200 mm wide c-bonded vanity unit is available with either one or two tap holes.
Clear contrasts: soft, organic shapes and geometrically precise contours. Light and dark materials. From the washing area to the free-standing bathtub to the tall cabinet: The recurring characteristic design elements link and perfectly match all areas.
The body color Mediterranean Oak (71) lends a warm, inviting atmosphere to the washing area. The semi-tall cabinet is optionally available with semi-transparent persol glass door. The V-shaped feet of the floor-standing furniture are particularly striking.
The Viu countertop basins in combination with the XSquare furniture with chrome profiles on the edges complete the elegant and subtle washing area. The basin can be placed in the center or on one side for even more storage space.

Tone-in-tone as well as contrasting options can produce different combinations using a variety of materials. A range of high-quality real-wood, lacquer and décor finishes create a wealth of style collections from “Silver” to “Dark”.
Perfect inside and outside
The c-bonded technology shows a seamless connection between ceramic basin and the metal frame. The drawers of the vanity unit are optionally available with an interior organization system. Thanks to the tip-on technology, the handle-free drawers can be opened and closed easily.
Colored storage place
The alternative variants for the washing area, with furniture washbasin, built-in washbasin, or above-counter washbasin and matching vanity unit with pull-out compartment or two drawers, feature striking V-shaped lateral aluminum profiles, which are also available in Champagne Matt and Black Matt. The XViu bathroom program is available in 34 finishes and also goes well with the ceramic series Vero Air, ME by Starck and P3 Comforts.
Tall cabinet
Attractive storage: The XViu semi-tall cabinet. Its smoked-glass door is semi-transparent yet still gives the impression of privacy. Technically optimized but visually subtle, smooth hinge straps are deployed for opening and closing the doors.
Mirror
The XViu mirror with its icon-driven control is able to regulate a perfect lightning, an ambient lightning, mirror heating and different color temperatures from sunny to dark light.
Mirror cabinet
The lateral profiles of the mirror cabinets with fully-mirrored sides reflect the individual design language of XViu. The variant with icon control on the mirror surface, a first for mirror cabinets, also features the ambient light mode and colored light switching function.

Stand-alone
A further highlight of the XViu series is the free-standing bathtub, an eye-catching centerpiece. Here, too, the prominent metal frame with the familiar V-shaped profile comes in Champagne Matt or Black Matt as a contrast to the high-gloss white acrylic.

How everything began
Duravit still influences bathroom design. This is largely thanks to the collaboration with Dieter Sieger, which commenced in 1990. A starting signal for us as a manufacturer of designer bathrooms. With the \"Darling\" ceramic series, we set standards and, looking back, can see that we changed the industry. There's no doubt that this required a certain degree of courage, but mainly a love of sustainable design and timeless forms, something that is still apparent today in every Duravit product.
