The Shower Head as an Overhead Shower for the Perfect Wellness Moment
Overhead showers are installed either on the ceiling or on the wall and, thanks to their large shower surface, provide a soothing flow of water that envelops the whole body. The shower heads on Duravit overhead showers come with a large number of spray nozzles, ensuring that you'll enjoy a relaxing rain shower. To provide even more comfort, the shower head holder has a ball joint that allows the angle of the shower head to be adjusted.
Not only do showers perform a functional task, but they can also serve as a design element in every bathroom. You can choose from among shower heads with angular or round designs, so you'll be sure to find the overhead shower that fits perfectly into your bathroom. There are also various options in terms of material and color: Our overhead showers are available, for example, as a rain shower in a black finish, with two colors in chrome and white, or with shiny silver chrome plating.
Tip: Overhead showers look especially elegant when combined with a concealed shower faucet.
The Shower Head as a Shower Sprayer for Flexible Handling
Duravit handheld shower heads come in different colors so you can choose the design that suits your bathroom best. In addition, with handheld shower heads you can choose between two versions: either a standard handheld shower head or a shower wand. These showers are connected to a hose and are held in place by a shower holder, which is attached to a bar. In this configuration, the shower head also works like an overhead shower. You can remove handheld shower heads and wands from the bar and move them freely, allowing you to rinse shampoo or shower gel from specific areas. Another big advantage of handheld shower heads is that they can be used in any situation: Duravit handheld shower heads and handheld shower wands can easily be combined with any shower or bath faucet.

Just like the shower heads in overhead showers, shower wands and hand showers also come with the MinusFlow and EasyClean functions.
MinusFlow
The MinusFlow function is a special feature of Duravit overhead showers. You can enjoy your time in the shower while also saving on water since the flow rate is limited to a maximum of 2.4 gpm. These water-saving shower heads will help reduce both your water and your energy bills. With hand showers, this is equivalent to a 40% reduction in water consumption compared to showers without MinusFlow, and in overhead showers it can be as high as 60%.
EasyClean
Another feature is the EasyClean design. Our overhead showers and hand showers can be cleaned without problem. Thanks to the EasyClean feature, it's easy to remove limescale and dirt deposits from the shower heads.

If you have a concealed faucet installation in your shower, you can easily install a rain shower head in the ceiling. A shower arm will be needed in order to connect to the water connection.
Wall-mounted rain shower with shower arm:
As an alternative to a ceiling installation, rain shower heads can also be wall-mounted with a shower arm. The enveloping flow of water will still come from overhead.
A rain shower as a complete package:
Duravit offers practical all-in-one solutions for our shower systems. You'll get a complete system with exposed installation consisting of a shower mixer or thermostat, a shower wand, hose, shower head and hand shower.
