“Living bathrooms”: extolling the essence of its brand core, Duravit set up the showroom under the guiding principle of its slogan. The focal point is the direct experience, sensation and familiarity of the brand. The company created realistic room scenarios to present selected series: the new Cape Cod bathroom series from Philippe Starck, for example, places nature at the heart of the display. A place of relaxation and revitalisation with sophisticated aesthetic materials and shapes. The washbasins, which make clever use of the contrast between the floor-standing frame in cool, smooth chrome and the exclusive wood finishes, catch the eye. Other current designer pieces such as P3 Comforts from Phoenix Design or the new L-Cube furniture series, created by Christian Werner, blend in perfectly and introduce highlights.
Recreation and relaxation – these bathroom sensations served as the inspiration for the design of the wellness area. The Nahho floatation tub, Sundeck pool and new Cape Cod bathtub are shown at their best - in working order, enabling all the features to be experienced in all their facets. Subtle light play underpins the calming atmosphere.
