In the new showroom Duravit India not only presents the latest trends but also shows bathroom design from various different perspectives. “Duravit design trends are notable for their durable modern forms featuring a systematic reduction to the essentials. In addition we offer the ideal solution for different budgets and lifestyles,” says Asutosh Shah, Duravit India’s managing director. “The new Duravit Showcase makes design, innovation and technology more understandable and real for customers.” The exhibition offers a wide range of products – from modern classics such as the Starck 1 series to practical wellness products like Sundeck or the innovative SensoWash shower-toilet.
Duravit is a leading light in the cooperation with high-profile international designers. The ranges on display in the new showroom bear, for example, the signature of Philippe Starck, sieger design or Matteo Thun. The focus is on the practical interaction between good design and technology that is used intelligently.
Duravit AG has had a production facility in Tarapur in the state of Gujarat since 2010. Over 300 workers are employed at the EN ISO 9001:2008 certified factory which covers an area of around 170,000 m². Duravit operates with 35 affiliated companies worldwide and is present in more than 120 countries. Manufacturing takes place in Germany, Egypt, China, France, Tunisia and Turkey as well as in India.
