Vanity units in your bathroom make optimal use of the space under the sink and make room for all of your bathroom essentials. These usually include care products, bathroom linens and cleaning products. These are always at hand since they're centrally located under the sink. In addition, bathroom vanity units are a great way to decoratively cover up the sink's plumbing connections. Conventional standing bathroom vanity units are often placed on the floor without any additional wall mounting so they are not only a bit less stable, they're also not secured against tipping over. Our standing bathroom vanity units, on the other hand, are also secured to the wall. However, decorative cabinet legs can also be added to a floating bathroom vanity unit. They don't serve a load-bearing function but are merely decorative. They give the impression that the bathroom vanity unit is standing on feet and not hanging from the wall. A small design element with a big effect!

Closing them is as gentle as it is noiseless - thanks to the self-closing mechanism with soft-closure. Drawers with pulls also have a self-closing mechanism with soft-closure functionality, so they always close gently and silently.

The suspension systems are made of metal so they are especially robust, which means that you can store heavy items in the drawers without any problems.

None of our bathroom vanity units, whether they have drawers or doors, have any open edges, so they are ideal for damp areas, even in places that can't readily be seen. We manufacture our bathroom furniture entirely in Germany.

What Are some Basic Considerations when Installing a Bathroom Vanity Unit?

1. The bathroom vanity unit shouldn't be any taller than the lower edge of the sink. The precise measurement for this is from the floor to the lower edge of the sink. Note the different sizes of bathroom vanity units.

2. The size and height of the vanity is not the only relevant detail; the width and depth are also important. It's a good idea to match the dimensions to the dimensions of the sink and to pay close attention to getting the distances accurate during installation. We offer sinks that match every bathroom vanity unit perfectly.

3. One of the reasons to have a bathroom vanity unit is to cover up the plumbing connections. It's a good idea to make sure that there is enough room for this.

4. If you decide on a bathroom vanity unit, it's important to pay attention to how it's attached. The holes for the dowels should ideally line up with the joints in order to avoid damage to any tiles. Don't forget that the upper edge of the vanity should be flush with the lower edge of the sink.

By the way: All of our sinks are self-hanging so they attach firmly to the wall when installed alone or in combination with a bathroom vanity unit. In other words, the sink itself can be installed and used independently of a vanity.
